Grey County is proud to host Ontario’s largest kite festival. Located just west of Dundalk, the Hopeville kite festival offers a magical weekend of flight, music, food and more.

This year’s event will take place over two days, August 24th and 25th 2024.

2024 South Grey Home and Garden Show Recap

The 2024 South Grey Home and Garden Show, held on April 27-28 at the Flesherton Arena, was a resounding success, drawing in crowds from across the region. This annual event, organized by the South Grey Chamber of Commerce, showcased a diverse array of vendors catering to all aspects of home improvement and gardening.

Visitors were treated to a variety of exhibits, ranging from innovative home renovation solutions to the latest in gardening tools and techniques. The show provided a unique opportunity for attendees to engage with industry experts, discover new products, and gather inspiration for their own home and garden projects.

A highlight of the event was the exciting door prizes that attendees had the chance to win throughout the weekend. The major attraction, however, was the grand passport prize valued at over $4,500, which generated significant excitement and participation among visitors.

The South Grey Home and Garden Show continues to be a premier event in the community, offering valuable insights and opportunities for homeowners and gardening enthusiasts alike. We look forward to welcoming everyone back next year for another fantastic event.
